Philippe Godin is a seasoned investment management professional, holding a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance from the Université de Sherbrooke, obtained in 2007. Passionate about financial markets from a young age, he developed an early interest in investing and built a disciplined approach focused on performance and risk management.

He began his career in 2007 as an Investment Advisor at Manulife, before joining IG Wealth Management, where he successively held the roles of Wealth Planning Specialist (2011 to 2017) and Portfolio Strategist from 2018 to 2025.

Philippe holds several recognized designations, including CFA, CFP, and CIM, reflecting the depth of his knowledge and his commitment to the highest standards in the industry.

Fully dedicated to portfolio optimization, he is responsible for the development and implementation of tailored investment strategies. His approach is distinguished by strong discipline, a deep understanding of the markets, and the ability to adapt each strategy based on clients’ profiles, objectives, and risk tolerance.

Outside of his professional activities, Philippe is passionate about hockey—a sport he has played since childhood and now shares with his two sons. He also places great importance on family time and strives to create meaningful moments in environments that allow for rest and renewal.
